in hopes to land a job
people claiming to be smarter than me told me what to learn
on the guise of building well rounded intellectuals rather than how to earn
I paid my own money and borrowed from the land
so I could get my diploma secured in my hand
learning lots of things for which I cared not nor helped me in my cause
accumulating extra debt while fixing all my 'flaws'
but in the end I needed tools for which someone would pay
and along came webucate and swiftly saved the day
